French coin with different signature to others I have seen
Hi All, I have a 1950 20 franc coin with the full name GEORGES GURIAUD on the head side. All the others i can find have just G.GURIAUD as the name. Is this a rarer variety?.

Well first off, take a picture of the front since this can be a rarer coin if it is 20 Francs - 1950 w/4 plumes.
I've found out that this coin is worth about Face Value, however, if it has the 4 plumes, then you're golden

Yeah. There is one variety of a 1950 French 20 francs which has Georges name spelled out. Most have just the "G." Both are worh very little.
According to a late edition of the KM catalog, the '4 plume' variety Mike mentions has been identified as a counterfeit.
