Hi,
I have a half dollar of 1861 and I would like to know if it's genuine/Scott restrike or just a copy. If it's genuine/Scott restrike, what's it worth?

Well first off, chances are yours isn't original. It may be a restrike. There were only 4 originals made in the world.

Genuine coin, essentially priceless
Scott restrike, worth 1000s of US dollars
Typical replica struck as a souvenir, worth zero
Replica with word COPY, worth a few dollars

It looks liek it's a Typical replica struck as a souvenir, worth zero; However I am not entirely sure. I suggest you get it valued, and I will get Paul to look at this.
