China Kiangnan 5, 10, 20, and 50 cents and 1 dollar 1898 to 1901
Hi there, this is my first post, finally i found the best site to ask about coins. Can you tell me the detail of this coin, the year, value etc? I don't even know a thing about chinese characters. There are some differences for the chinese character (at the back), comparing my coin to your catalog picture, why is it happened? Perhaps to ask you more about my other collection & this is the first. Thank you in advance.

There are plenty of counterfeits of this coin around. And I am unsure if yours is fake or real.
It should weigh about 28 grams, and if it's real can value between $20 and $200 if you're lucky.
The originals are rare but fakes are not.
If it's fake the value is about $1
