Saudi Arab Riyals (silver coins)
When I left Saudi Arabia in 1954 I but 30 riyals in a jewelry box. They were near new at that time but due to the high silver content they have tarnished somewhat in the 57 years since. Two questions:
1. Should I shine them up before presenting them to a buyer?
2. Where can I find an honest buyer to sell them to. I live about 60 miles above Dallas, TX.
Thanks,
Deadeye Dick

Re: Saudi Arab Riyals (silver coins)
Do NOT Polish Your Coins!
This can damage them easily if you do not know what you are doing.

If you feel you need to have your coins cleaned take them to a professional at your local coin shop. They will do it for a fee but they will do it right with the proper equipment and not scratch up the coin.
