Additional Info:
Since my last posting, I have learned some additional information. I believe this is a Type 2 coin. The date is 1913 with an "F" below the date (presumably the designer). The back of the coin does not have a mint mark (I am assuming it was made in Philadelphia).
Any information is appreciated.
Thanks

Re: 1913 Buffalo nickel
Hi there Singer.
Your buffalo nickel is a good find, but is in terrible condition!
Here's the info on it.
Your nickel barely fits into the 'Good' category, if not at all.
The value for a coin in good condition is $8.
The definition for 'Good' is as follows.
Heavily warn with design missing in some areas.
This is yours. So this coin is worth about $6, if you can sell it... However dealers will rip you off and buy it for about $.50
Keep it and see what happens!
Marked as complete.
