Hello.
That's Elizabeth, Queen of England coin (1558-1602), it should be made from gold. If it's original or false? I don't have any idea, I don't have enough knowelge to veryfy coins of west Europe.

Hi, Thanks so much for your response. After I posted this question I also emailed pictures to an auction house. They responded very quickly and said that judging from the pictures it is a reproduction and not even made of gold. I'm waiting to hear back from a few others, but my hopes aren't high at this point. I might just take it by a friend's coin shop to see if they can test it for gold. But more than likely, the expert was correct!
