Found this in an old coin purse from my grandfather. Just wondering what it is. I've had it for 20 years and havent ben able to get info on it. No year, no denomination. Been a mystery for me.

That's a patriotic jeton. Patriotic gadgets were very popular in pre-war times. (pre Ist World War).
"Friedrich, prince of Germany/God save our prince Friedrich"

Hey thanks, Aarton. Guess I was always looking in the wrong place for info on this thing. Do you know if it has any value? Should I keep it in my coin collection or start a separate collection of political trinkets?

I think that's a nice curiosity. There is a huge variety of patriotic stuff, and collecting then could be more fun than coins collecting.
I don't think that is worth more than few $.
